a new chapter

hi.

hiiiii.

hi.

(i'm taking deeeeep breaths).

today was/is a big, Big, BIG day.

and well, i do this here.

i share our moments...

our bits & bobs,

lower case letter, in between, 

gratitude, reflective, creative, pause,

capture, lift up, learn from, 

celebrate moments

in our days.

this has become a lil' space for that.

 a space where i get to 

connect with you, my dear readers,

 and friends i'm so blessed to do this life with.

so first off,

today was big, because,  

my baby went off to kindergarten.

i've been crying and gushing all day.

we did it.

we are here now.

and second,

today was big, because,

on the same day my baby

stepped onto a school bus for the first time,

i stepped out of a 16 year career in corporate.

i did it.

i'm here now.

friends,

i'm leaving a company, career and colleagues 

with whom i grew up with, learned from and loved deeply.

i'm leaving the platforms,

women@mercer and when women thrive,

that i had the honor and privilege to be a part of, nurture and see fly.

i'm leaving a past,

that has shaped my new future.

the time has come to leave something 

i've loved and loved hard but in this season has become 

more corporate than personal,

more marketing than movement,

more zoom calls than community,

more airplane miles than accomplishments,

more strategy than soul,

more it than me.

so on this day,

my baby's first day of kindergarten...

a day that truly does mark a new chapter,

i'm beginning a new one...
as an entrepreneur and doer of community, creativity,
sisterhood and raising up the next generation.

the time has come for me to pursue the passions

god has placed on my heart for years...

that i've dabbled in here and there...

and that i feel in the depths of my soul is time to live fully.

i'll share more in the days and weeks to come, 

but i can tell you this, 

dear ones, who know me some already...

that this new, is just me, but fully and faithfully in.

i'm so excited,
and i look forward to this next chapter very much so.
