a royal wedding tea party

did you watch the royal wedding - wasn't kate (catherine) stunning?! we had a little royal party of our own here at home to enjoy the festivities. blackberry scones with devonshire clotted cream. strawberries and cream. tea and kid-made crowns. just a little way to remember the day...and of course to have some fun & yummies!

cousin easter egg hunt

just got my second wind after a super fun day with family for the 2nd annual cousin easter egg hunt.  a few highlights from the day...

decorating their egg buckets

lots of loves & playing while we waited for the rain to let up

yay - the rain stopped, let's hunt!

hey bennett...don't steal rylee's eggs!
some sillyness for the big kids- i think we were all on a little sugar high...

and the kids did some flying (yikes!)

silly rabbits - an all around special day...

happy easter

typing this with food color stained fingers to wish everyone a happy easter.

we are so looking forward to celebrating with our family this weekend. tomorrow's easter egg hunt at grandma & papa's with all (most) of the cousins. celebrating the good news of christ's resurrection.  preparing and enjoying easter dinner.  attempting my grandmother's stuffed cabbage for the first time. cute little outfits. singing praises to the king. happy easter dear friends!
