it was a happy farter's day weekend indeed! and yes - you read that right...farter's day. because when you are constantly having to parent against the incessant poo, toot, pee and all other versions of kiddo potty talk (without laughing or playing along yourself) - you can't help but bust a gut when your 3 year old in all his innocent sweetness expresses his love for daddy with a joyful "happy farter's day!" that adorable missing "th" sound...not be mistaken as a character statement of dad!
i can't wait to see him holding our 3rd in those strong arms! lucky kiddos. lucky me.
