this morning i ripped off the april calendar page and then did a little jig in the kitchen.
this morning we had pancakes and blew out candles to celebrate.
this morning we high-fived and yahoo'ed.
this morning i felt the burdens of the last month diminish.

this past month kicked my rear.
it is amazing all the life that was lived,
all the work that was done,
all the memories that were made.
it was good, but it was hard.
i'm glad it's in the rear view mirror.
