this past fall wes' nanny passed away.
she had left some of her homemade christmas crackers
for each of the great-grandchildren and families to open on christmas eve.
each cracker was filled with the candy treats wes remembers from when he was little.
and then there is the one special one with a dollar bill inside.
jane was our family's lucky winner and i think these photos
here would have made her great-nanny smile.
