thankful tuesday, 2/5

when i started this little blog two years ago - it was a way to keep and share photos, moments and memories.  not long after i started - i read the book, one thousand gifts by ann voskamp - and from it grew thankful tuesdays.  i cannot tell you how this weekly (and sometimes monthly) discipline has changed my perspective...my heart...me!  these lists and the moments they contain i will cherish always!

• filling my little boy's tank at the children's museum...water play, ship, construction and all boy loves
• sitting at a restaurant waiting for friends...and realizing i was at the wrong restaurant
• a snowy afternoon at the library reading through beatrix potter treasures
• morning kiddo authors & illustrators
• bennett's book-a-day writing
• my big cup of tea
• sweet pre-school teachers
• adding coins with ella - battles and seeing the click
• b's new karate class
• lots of smiles and that adorable coo
• her baby smell
• getting a handle on new routines
• birthday celebrations a month later for b and his buddies
• a dining room table and floor covered in construction paper
• valentine's day countdown fun
• fever snuggles with e
• prayers of babes
• movies on the ceiling and popcorn in the bed
